A 4-Week Virtual Experience to Strengthen your Relationship with You!

The concept of self-care and self-love has become widely accepted over recent years. People are becoming more aware of the importance of these practices. The benefits to our overall health, well-being, and every area of life, including family, work, and relationships, are largely recognized.

However, due to the popularity of these concepts, their practical application of it has become a bit watered down. Much of the potency has been lost. Unfortunately, the depth of self-love and self-care remains untouched by most of society. For many people, it’s still a very abstract concept that’s hard to tap into. At the same time, it’s a goal for most.

Taking better care of yourself and learning to love yourself is important, but you get stuck in the how-to. And for valid reasons.

Maybe you don’t have enough time to meditate for 20 minutes a day. Or financially can’t swing $120 on a massage once a month. Perhaps you’re lacking support from your partner and get guilted when you do something for yourself, like take a yoga class. Maybe you feel selfish and guilty to take resources like time, energy, and money away from your family.

It may be that you just don’t know what self-care is or what it can even look like for you. Maybe the idea of self-love is so foreign that you can’t possibly see any pathway towards it.

Life moves so fast these days. Most of the time we’re on autopilot just going through the motions.

When is there time to hit pause on the busyness to take a moment? When can you quiet the noise to reflect on what you need? How do you find time to take action on those needs?

Here’s the deal. If you’re not prioritizing this and carving out the time, life isn’t going to do it for you.

Don’t settle for being someone who just goes through the motions, day in and day out. Exhausted, burnt out, putting everyone’s needs before your own, and feeling resentful and bitter is no way to live.

There is another way, and it requires some intentionality, a little bit of effort, and a lot of courage. Putting yourself first, especially when you’ve done the opposite for so long, can be wildly uncomfortable. You might experience some internal discomfort, feelings of selfishness, and external resistance from others. But you know how crucial self-care is to your health and wellbeing, and the ripple out it has on others.

Being devoted to self-care and self-love requires a commitment to intentional action.

Changing habits is all about taking new actions. And that action will look different from person to person.

For one person, self-care might be taking a bath, and for the next person, it’s implementing healthy boundaries with technology. In terms of self-love, one person might need to communicate their needs, while another has to end a toxic relationship.

Whatever your practice is, the reality is that these things don’t always come easy. The intention to care for yourself might be there, but the follow-through can sometimes lack.

Learning how to adopt or advance your practice of caring for yourself is essential. Your health, mental sanity, and emotional wellbeing depend on it. Especially in a world where there are countless demands on our time, attention, and resources.

You owe it to yourself to love and care for yourself in a more nourishing, sustainable way.

This Self-Care course is broken down into four segments.

Week 1: Self-Love. It’s the foundation to everything. How you feel about yourself influences everything you think, do, and say. Do you have a positive regard for yourself? Or are you overly harsh and self-critical? We’ll go deep into this concept so you can explore what self-love means to you, what it looks and feels like, and how to practically begin cultivating a more loving and kind relationship with yourself.

Week 2: Self-Care. How you treat yourself influences every area of life. Are you treating yourself with respect, kindness, and acknowledging your needs? Or are you treating yourself poorly, lacking boundaries, putting yourself last, and not prioritizing your needs? You’ll learn a simple approach to daily self-care, and how to make it a non-negotiable.

Week 3: Self-Talk. What you say when you talk to yourself matters and is worth looking at. Your self-talk influences emotions, drives behavior and habits, and has an extraordinary affect on your body and health. Here, you’ll explore what the inner landscape of your mind looks like. Are you patience and kind, or harsh and critical? Perhaps a mix of both? You’ll learn simple tools to shift your inner world.

Week 4: Self-Worth. Do you question your worthiness? Do you hinge it upon external conditions, such as people’s acceptance and opinions of you? Measuring your self-worth based on what others/society says is a recipe for disaster. Learn how to take back your power, accept yourself as you are, and reclaim your self-worth regardless of external circumstances.
