How to Speak and Present with Confidence in Business and in Life

Whether you’re a leader in your job, part of a team, the owner of your business, working part-time in someone else’s business, or you have relationships in your life, speaking with confidence is an essential skill to practice often and develop well, in both work and in life.
Have you ever found yourself struggling to effectively convey what you mean to your boss, being misunderstood by your co-workers, wanting to speak up in your relationship but hesitate or doubting yourself, and second-guessing what you’ve said in a meeting after the words have left your mouth?
That red face flushed feeling, all the energy rushes to your head, tingly sensation in your limbs, get a bit dizzy, your senses start to blur.
Then the head trash comes flooding in… “omg, they’re all staring at me… I’m totally blowing this… I’m so embarrassed… I suck at public speaking… I’m never doing this again.”
I get it, and I’ve been there. Nervousness when speaking in front of people, or when trying to express yourself to the people in your life… is so normal.
At the same time, feeling more confident and self-assured in your ability to communicate more clearly and precisely at work, and in your relationships is absolutely possible. But it takes practice and the proper tools.
Ravi Rajani is the founder of Ravi Rajani Coaching & Consulting and he helps leaders, sales teams, and individuals speak with confidence, become impactful storytellers, and deliver revenue-winning presentations.
On April 28th at 12 pm EST, he’ll lead us through a live, interactive group coaching experience where he’ll teach specific tools to strengthen your speaking muscle, increase your confidence in your communication, and if you’re feeling brave you’ll get the chance to take the “hot-seat” to receive in-the-moment coaching to practice and develop your skills.
